Summer Camp 2019

The Shepard Summer Camp experience was quite awesome this year! As we moved into our 4th year at our present location continuing our collaboration with One Village, Deborah Banks Founder, we saw a new level of self-awareness in our youth! The theme chosen this year was “The Me I See.” Between the academic prowess of Deborah, the systematic structured curriculum of Ms. Faye Edwards, the theatre artistry of our young adult Instructor Sydni Randle, and the assistance of our volunteers, i.e. degreed adults, students, and young adults, serving food, physical fitness, fun time, we ended camp knowing that the youth left with a renewed mindset to look at their lives and their individual selves with a higher level of self-confidence.
